Recording Notification Service
The Brevard County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office offers a free Recording Notification Service via automated emails. Citizens can request monitoring up to 10 different names or property descriptions per registered email address. When a document is recorded into the Official Records of Brevard County, Florida, with an identity that is being monitored, an email will automatically be sent to the registered email address.
In order to avoid potential undetected property fraud, we recommend homeowners periodically check the Official Records of Brevard County, Florida. Although checking the Official Records does not prevent the possibility of fraudulent activity from occurring, it does provide an early warning.
If you suspect a document was fraudulently recorded against your name or property, you may file a complaint with your local law enforcement agency. You may also contact the Brevard County Clerk of Courts Reporting Fraud, Waste & Abuse division at 321-637-6541 or via email here.
