The Clerk’s Office provides the public with online access to unclaimed funds. This webpage provides the public with a listing of Unclaimed Refunds, Tax Deed Surplus and Registry of the Court monies being held by this office in our official capacity.

Tax Deed Surplus
For the tax deed sales prior to 12/17/2020, claims may have been filed and/or processed on these cases; to check the status of the surplus or whether claims have been filed, please review the cases in our online tax deed file application, Tribute Web. You may access Tribute Web by clicking here http://www.brevardclerk.us/tax-deeds. Select View Tax Deed Files Online from the Tax Deed Auctions Options menu on the Tax Deed Auctions page.
For the tax deed sales held on or after 12/17/2020, claims may have been filed and/or processed on these cases; to check the status of the surplus or whether claims have been filed, please review the case in our online tax deed file application, RealTDM. You may access the RealTDM public site by clicking here http://www.brevardclerk.us/tax-deeds. Select View Tax Deeds Online (for tax deed sales occurring on or after 12/17/2020) from the Tax Deed Auctions Options menu on the Tax Deed Auctions page. To select files that have gone to auction and have surplus, select Surplus Balance from the Balance Type menu.

When making a claim for unclaimed property...
You must fill out the necessary forms and submit the information to the Brevard County Clerk of Courts. Some of these forms can be found under 'Claim Forms' on the left side of this page under the 'Related Links' section.
Apparent Owner Requirements:
- W-9
- 1 Form of State/Federal Issued Id
- Lost Check Affidavit (F.S. 116.21 Unclaimed Checks)
- Claim to Tax Deed Surplus (when applicable)
- Owner’s Claim to Foreclosure Surplus (when applicable)
- Motion & Order to Disburse (Registry Deposits)
3rd Party Claimant Requirements:
- Assignment of Interest
- Limited Power of Attorney
- W-9
- 2 Forms of State/Federal Issued Id
- Lost Check Affidavit (F.S. 116.21 Unclaimed Checks)
- Claim to Tax Deed Surplus (when applicable)
- Owner’s Claim to Foreclosure Surplus (when applicable)
- Motion & Order to Disburse (Registry Deposits)
